When the mini facial is enough
The 75-minute appointment is a useful first visit if you came for the wash, scalp care and massage, and would enjoy some facial care alongside them. Its listed features include a singing bowl and mini facial. That facial is part of the 75 minutes; it does not add another appointment afterward.
When the facial deserves more time
The 45 + 45 package gives you 15 more facial minutes than the $160 combination. Choose it when you want the facial to carry equal weight in the visit. For the longest scalp portion, the $160 package keeps a full 60 minutes for the head spa.

What is included in the head spa part?
Every head spa starts with digital scalp analysis, and the 45- and 60-minute head spa portions include a shampoo wash and blow-dry finish. You can see the magnified scalp image on the monitor with your therapist before the wet stages begin.
At the basin you recline for the cleanse, scalp care, massage and warm-water rinse. With the $160 pairing, the menu expressly includes a 60-minute head spa and blow-dry alongside the 30-minute gua sha facial. The even-split package allocates 45 minutes to each service. Read the booking title carefully: both last 90 minutes, but the appointment is divided differently.
A facial package and a separate facial
Aura also offers a 60-minute Deep Hydrating Facial and a 60-minute Signature Customized Facial, each $138. Those are individual facial appointments on the facial menu. If you have one of them in mind, ask about scheduling that exact service with a head spa; the word “facial” in a package does not mean every facial on the menu is interchangeable.

Open every day, 9 AM to 8 PM — a lunch hour, an evening after work, or a weekend morning all fit.
- Come off I-90 at Exit 18 and follow E Sunset Way east. We are about a third of a mile past Front Street, on a block of converted houses.
- Watch the curb for a dark monument sign reading House of Layo and Aura Beauty. We share the site with the salon, so that sign is the landmark.
- Come a few minutes early on a first visit — there is tea by the fireplace, and your head spa starts with a look at your scalp on the monitor.
